Summer Associates The best way to learn is by doing, and at Broude, Smith & Jennings, P.C. our summer associate program is designed to help you make the transition from law student to lawyer. Our summer associates are given the opportunity to work side-by-side with our lawyers, attending client meetings, closings, depositions, and hearings. Each summer associate is assigned a mentor who provides assistance with time management issues, administrative procedures, and various day-to-day concerns. The mentor is charged with ensuring that the summer associate receives timely and constructive feedback on their work, setting the stage for a truly productive and rewarding summer experience. Our goal is to create an environment in which summer associates can apply many of the skills and concepts they have learned in law school and also get a feel for life as a lawyer.
